"The character of the 2012 vintage shows cleanly through in the elegant, restrained Barolo Bricco Boschis. The nose shows characteristic aromas of red and black cherries, with summer herbs, anise and penetrating floral notes. In the mouth, the nuanced flavors of cherries, raspberries and hints of eucalyptus are wrapped around a balanced yet subtle tannic structure. The finish is long and focused, with mineral and berry flavors. The warm but not overly hot growing conditions gave us excellent fruit-acid integrating and they are in harmony with the tannins and alcohol.
